We have a variety of roles to fill and we are particularly keen to hear from those in the education sector, although we also consider talented and suitably qualified candidates from other sectors including youth work, coaching/mentoring or other similar fields. The most important attribute we are looking for is an ability to engage and motivate young people to help them improve their life chances.

We are looking for outreach tutors to deliver learning in the student’s home or in a local library. The learning takes place in Enfield and surrounding and requires delivery of one-to-one lessons to SEN students.

The work is varied and can be extremely rewarding for those who know how to get the best out of young people. Numerous teachers and those who may have had a responsible supporting role have made the transition in order to have more flexibility and freedom at work, with more time to focus on their own well-being. The hours you work are flexible and to suit your lifestyle.

All candidates without a relevant teaching qualification will be fully supported by an experienced teacher in the delivery of academic material and will have access to an unlimited online resource of teaching materials/The role often involves working with both the student and their families, so will require an awareness of social issues which may impact the welfare for the child.

If you feel you have the relevant skills and qualifications and you can demonstrate previous success in supporting young people with additional needs (Reception – 25 years) then we would love to hear from you.

As the focus is primarily on education, we require candidates to have achieved a suitable level in both English and maths. Graduates with limited experience will also be considered..
