An excellent secondary school within the Borough of Enfield is currently looking for a Support Worker to assist pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties (SEMH).

This is a full-time long term role to start as soon as possible. You will be needed to work Monday to Friday, from 8.30am until 3.30pm each day.

The role is fast paced and can be challenging at times. However, it is a great opportunity for someone who has a real passion for helping young people succeed and wants to make a real difference to those in need of support.

The role will include the following responsibilities:

· Supporting children in & out of the classroom

· Working with pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis

· Acting as a buddy/mentor supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health difficulties and other associated special educational needs

· Working closely with parents, senior leaders in school and social services if need be


JOB DESCRIPTION

· Supporting pupils across Key Stage 3 and 4 with their additional needs

· Supporting, inspiring and motivating pupils to progress in their learning

· Understanding pupils SEMH needs and assisting in developing strategies to manage these
