SEN Teacher – Exciting Opportunity in Enfield

Are you a passionate SEN teacher looking for a fresh challenge? We are working with one of our client secondary SEN schools in Enfield, North London, who are opening a brand-new class for pupils with Autism (many non-verbal with complex needs).

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the school’s exciting journey from the very beginning. You’ll be leading a mixed-age group of up to 10 pupils (Years 7–11) and helping to create a learning environment that is nurturing, inclusive, and inspiring.

This role is perfect for a teacher who wants to go beyond classroom teaching – someone who enjoys shaping practice, collaborating closely with colleagues, and making a lasting impact on pupils’ lives.

We are looking for someone with:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential,
Experience working with pupils with Autism, ideally in a specialist setting
Knowledge of SEN strategies, especially Autism and Speech, Language & Communication Needs (SLCN)
A creative, caring, and resilient approach

The role:
Full time, Monday–Friday (8:30am–3:30pm)
Enfield, North London
Initially temporary, with the view to becoming permanent
